I'll have to say Lafayette has some of THE coolest cop cars. There's a white charger/magnum (they look the same to me) that likes to hide near my house. There's the black trans am on campus. Now this Legacy. As well as all the other unmarked vehicles.

Thats cool, I seen a unmarked police Civic SI a couple weeks back on the highway up here. Sneaky, Sneaky! I'm surprised none of the members here have started a list of all the unmarked police vehicles in there area to watchout for.

The local Bordentown cops around me have these Dodge Chargers white w/ blacked out rims and they look SICK.

The Pemberton cops all have Durangos. The local Springfield Twp police department has no cops.

Lafayette... Cause not everyone gets into Lehigh :)

Yup. The chargers do look pretty awesome. That bastard is sneaky as hell though. Thing looks completely from front/rear. The side says Police, and he's got the blacked out rims.

The cops didn't really get to choose. It was more so given to them. Link (http://www.jconline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080206/NEWS/802060331)

SIA donates car to Lafayette police

Subaru of Indiana Automotive donated a vehicle to the Lafayette Police Department Tuesday fulfilling a promise the company made several months ago.

The vehicle, a 2008 Subaru Legacy, has been outfitted to look like other LPD cars and will be used by the department's school resource officer, LPD Chief Don Roush said.

Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski said SIA was going to donate it to the city and city officials determined it would be best used by the LPD.

"It will be out at our school and people will see it," Roswarski said. "I think we've created a good business environment here in our community... and the business community tries to give back."

It's the 3.0R, which is no slouch by any means. 245hp AWD. I test drove one of these, it has paddle shifter on the steering wheel, which are fixed to the column.:disgust: The whole time I kept asking the salesman "So are these like paddle shifts?" He kept telling me they were for cruise.. asshat. The cruise was obviously in the same spot as the cougar.
