Yesterday I was up in Enfield at like 1am getting food at a McD's This white suv followed me out of the parking lot. He continued to follow me down a few backroads, I knew it wasn't a cop because it was a Lincoln Navigator or something like that so I went around another corner and gunned it. He persued, I broke away quickly and kept up with the turning down random roads. I kept losing him but he would find me and try to chase me again, eventually I went to turn down what I thought was a road but it was really a park and there was a gate blocking it, so I slammed on the brakes, when I did I hit basically a big speed bump, I threw it in reverse and took off again, I lost the suv again and headed back to the main part of Enfield, suddenly I feel the car start pulling to the left so I stop and look... I blew the LF tire.
It got better when the lock lug stripped and I had to leave the car in a church parking lot...
But its better today so I'm just glad about that.
Tonight I'm gonna go back to the McD's and see if that Lincoln is there again. Can't wait to see what goes down.

Trouble comes in two's with my car...
Got the tire fixed yesterday, everything was grand, great, good, it was excellent. I was on my way to meet a friend with two of my friends in the car when I feel the shift just go limp. My first thought was that I broke the shifter again and thus it was stuck in 5th gear. Long story short I ended up burning the clutch pretty bad, ie smoke and probably blew the tranny gasket cause there was fluid on the ground, I think I broke a link somewhere in the tranny cause there is no other explanation. The clutch was still good when we pulled it home so now I'll need to drop the tranny and see if its salvageable.

There is no "tranny gasket". You probably cracked the case, if it's losing transmission fluid.

... don't say something like that right now. Not when I was beginning to get hopeful that I might be able to keep the car...
Something is leaking, I don't see how the case would crack all of a sudden like that, my dad will have to take a look hes been a master mechanic for like 30 years so he'll figure it out and tell me if I should keep the car or if I should part it out.

You probably blew up your differential and put gears through the case of the tranny. Why were you running away from said Lincoln anyway? I would've laughed if it ended up being a cop (they're not only in crown vics you know)

If it were a cop, and he found out about it, he could have filed a harasment suit agaisnt the city. If a cop believes there is a problem, they are obligated to actualy PULL you over, not chase you around without lights flashing.

Cops in that town are blue ford explorers...
Well here's the deal, checked it out today and there is indeed a crack at the back of the tranny... So now I need to find a replacement. All sorts of fun, cant wait to take that out.
