(FIXED)not again...

i just get out of class and am driving out of my schools parking lot (pretty big) as i am going down this street i need to take a left to get out on the street that take me home.

i turn on my signal, break a little(I'm doing about 25 on a road where i have seen kids doing 50+)

as i start to turn i see something out of the corner of my eye.

a blue car ( i think it was a dodge) zooms by me hitting my car (headlight, drivers side fender, hood, front bumper) and continues to drive at a high rate of speed over TWO barriers in the parking lot covered in snow.

the kid gets out of his car and is all "oh **** oh **** o **** I'm sorry" :rolleyes:

his whole passenger side hit my car from headlight to tail light. he must have been doing around 50
in the police report it says that "diver 1 made an illegal pass and collided with driver 2 as driver 2 was turning with signal."

I'm just mad. this is my 3 accident with the cougar that is not my fault. almost every body panel on my car has seen some sort of an accident.

we will see if i can talk my parents into letting me buy a speed 3 now :evil:

Ouch man, i know how that is, my car is going to the body shop for the 3rd time since i've owned it on march 10th. None were my fault, it sucks. Your's looks a little worse than any of mine though. Looks like the other guy is getting some points on his record though huh? Good luck fixing it!!

i will probably just fix it, i need to see how much money they are going to give me. or i may buy another cougar or something like that.

i have a little money saved up and that was going to be for my apartment but i mean if i can get a wrx or a speed3 that would be cool :biggrin:

My drivers side door is being replaced, painted and blended and that is going to cost 1,093$ so im sure you will get a good chunk of cash for that one. It looks like there is going to be quite a bit of damage under that fender too, I dont know if that would be considered "frame straightening" but the labor rate for that around here is pretty high.

i had a rental car once.. when I bought my cougar they had to replace the bumper and gave me a stinking ford focus, auto, 4cyl.. I have never driven such a pos in my life.. and i used to own a 1988 isuzu pup.. :puke: I was really bummed about my rental car experience.

I got nailed in my old 240sx by a guy doing 90 who passed people on the shoulder at a red light. Never even tapped his breaks after hitting me.
I was pissed needless to say so I can understand what it feels like to be hit for no reason other then a retarded driver. Only mine was a hit and run.

I got my car back today!! it is like a new car. new hood, new fender, new bumper and BOTH headlights are new. on top of them replacing the grill that was never there to begin with! ha! i love it.

o yeah and the mail man brought me something today for my new headlights :evil:

i will be putting in the angel eyes and new clear corners(gota make new ones now:mad:) tomorrow. I'm just really hesitant about cracking open brand new headlights, but i suppose i have done it a few times by now and this time should be perfect, i have the whole day to mess around with them.

it is bad to say this but getting into this accident was the best thing that could happen to my car. it drives like new! they also had to put a new rim and do an alignment. also they fixed the gap in the drivers side door that was annoying the crap out of me. in the end it cost them like $4600 for all the repairs.
