When I used to go out (back in the day), we would hit the Bellmore Train Station on Friday nights, the Nathan's in Oceanside on Wednesday, Newbridge Road in Hicksville on Tuesdays and weekends were good on DPA. Personally, haven't been out in (yikes) years. What's good now?

DPA is still popular, not for cougars though, Ive taken my cougar down *nothing done to it BTW cept a small system* but Im the only cougar..
Oh yea, and theres a guarentee of cops now adays.
Other then DPA I dont know anything other then baldhill in the summers, but again thats not cougar specific.. if anything its good for classic cars.

LOL. True! And a mortgage! There go my modding days :) Truthfully, I haven't heard from Pablo in a while. I would however, love another night of wings at Hooter's. We'll just have to both get on his case to drive his Civic (blech) out to Exit 57.

True, I almost forgot about Baldhill. I've only been up there once. The only downside is that you have to pay to get itn However, I do enjoy a nice classic car now and then

Hooray!!! I'm Here!!!
Sorry guys, I check these forums every 3 months or so. Lets get a hooters event together again. Melissa, send an email to Jay, and we can plan something. I work in Farmingdale now so either Islandia or E.Meadow Hooters are bother good for me.
Melissa, you can reach me at plizana@gmail.com since I dont really come on here often.
How is Brian btw? Now that the weather is getting warmer, we need to get drinks and do something like we used to back in the day.
Hey Falcon, how are things?

And btw, getting 44+ MPG with my civic hybrid is real nice at $3.79 a gallon. So although I do miss the cougars I owned, having a 30+ mile commute each way isnt so bad when you drive a hybrid.

Where is there a Croxley's? There is a new one where the Downtown was in Farmingdale NY. I work walking distance from there, so would love to go there. Jay works about 10 min from me, so thats central for him too.

*lurk* I still have a 99 coug, and I see a loaddd of them here in Suffolk Ct. However, we have no meet-ups or anything? I'm basically running stock, but don't know enough mechanically or anything to know my what my options are with a smaller budget, would like to learn tho

So when are we doing it?
How many people are interested?
Where are the majority of us located?
Meet at a restaurant of some sort? (Personally no bars for me I'm 19)
Is there reason for us to post phone #'s?

ok. so im going to get things started. i am def interested. we can do it someday during the week at night or something after work. im located near the hamptons, but i am willing to travel. we could meet at a restaraunt, or wherever. question, has anybody heard of the LI Tuners? im going to assume not, because im the only cougar there. haha. its a bunch of people who meet in the parking lot and talk cars. its really nice. but anyway, lets get something started! i can give out my phone number or AIM if needed.

I think Ive heard of them brought up, the only car club I know is LI Stangs, which might be where I heard of LI Tuners, but I only once went to a LI Stangs thing in PatMed..
I'd be up for a restaurant how far you willing to travel? I'm Ronkonkoma area, exit 60 on LIE.
