Does anyone have a picture of their exhaust from either under their car or uninstalled. I havent had a chance to install mine yet, but i was wasting a few minutes and putting the puzzle together and couldnt seem to figure it out. I've been under my car a few times and thought I knew the path it took, when I put trubendz together i think it looks correct, but one of the pipes just doesnt connect, one end isnt enlarged. A pic would help to see if I even have it together correctly.

Actually, re-reading that post, not sure if the exhaust is the same on the Zetec 2.0 but either way, I'll leave that instead of deleting it just in case.

pretty much the same, it'll just be alittle different on the front pipe. i had a trubendz kit sitting out a week or two ago before i put it on.

Did all of your pieces fit together correctly, james? I'm kind of wondering if the piece of pipe possibly didnt get stretched when the kit was being made.

Actually, that kit was designed to mirror the stock exhaust. The single exit is IDENTICAL except there is no 'T' split and the right output arm is missing.

Yeah, when I installed that kit ( back in 2003! ) it fit like a glove.. .no issues whatsoever! I love that kit. Too bad it's not available at Batinc anymore but I've seen it online at other sellers sites but it's a lot more money than it was back then.

zetec is the same. it just doesnt have the split and where the flange to bolt up the stock pipe might be different than the V6.

it fit together fine but the first hanger was a few inches off, trubendz said theyd fix it but i havent had a chance to measure the distance between the flange and stock hanger on the car.

Alright, so after comparing the two pictures, the one posted, and the trubendz stock picture, I think I have it figured out lol. Will I need a gasket for at the 2 bolt flange?

Yes, there's a gasket there and it's recommended you change it when you do your exhaust. They're cheap.. few bucks if memory serves.

Thats what I figured. Just took off my old exhaust, just cut the rubber hangers, was easier than prying them off with cold fingers. All I have left is to unbolt the old flange which I sprayed PB Blaster on in hopes of loosening the rustyness. Doesnt look like its gonna come off without a fight.

good luck with the flange. I had to drill out the bolts. it was a PITA! but it sounds great now. so it was worth it.

Yeah the bolts were a big no-can-do. but i rigged a pipe on there and put my muffler on to see roughly how it'd sound....Its dissappointingly quiet, but I think I might like it at higher rpms. We'll see when I get the bolts out.
