1999 Cougar $1500 OR TRADE (PICS)

Hello guys im selling my 1999 Cougar, its white with some sord of side skirts, and aftermarket wing that looks good! Overall the car is in pretty good condition, it needs a front bumper (the one that is on there is not all there).... It has black interior, every thing that i know of works, has a lot of options...

The GooD: Only 1500 for a great daily driver car that has a lot of potential!!!!
Runs Verry Good burns no oil!
Verry good tires
Excellent Heat and A/C
Aftermarket JVC cd player

The Bad: well not bad considering it Runs good and all But has 212k miles
Tranny slips Some when you take off and also when it shifts to second, all other gears are fine! But every now on then it feels ok and does fine, so im thinking it needs a tranny filter kit and fluid flush, but it hasnt gave me any problems, and i drive it daily to and from work!

Coolant light is also on in the fifth pic, so maybe just the key is turned? Which it also appears to be in the fifth pic. Is the car actually running? :confused:

So originally it had a full Visteon kit? Still has scoop, wing, and sideskirts. Too bad about the front bumper. :(

people can nit pick all they want but i dont know what those lights mean, the car does not run hot, i drive it every day! No problems with it engine whise... i checked the check engine light, and it says some smog stuff or sometihng... but besides that i dont know what the other lights are... it never runs past half way on the temp gauge... also the gas mileage gauge is llike that because i had reset it messing with the buttons, it was getting like 20 or 21 i beleive.... but all this picking and all... what else do you expect to get for that price... i figured that was a really good deal, considering the car runs drives, and gets you from point a to b! and has good heat, cd player, tires, etc.... and holds a good book value!!!

No one ever said the car wasnt a good deal man. No one was really even being picky or picking. I asked why the check engine light was on, so I could see if you already knew possibly why it was on, I was not being picky. I apologize if it came off that way. the fact that it still runs for 1500 is a good deal. Good luck and I really do hope you sell it.

Someone buy this car because it is very reasonable. I would if I had the cash right now. Just ordered BAT kit though so no more $.

Deals like this keep popping up and I'm telling you, one of these days I'm going to end up with another cougar. I'm sticking to my guns, I am not buying another one until I have a house with a big heated garage. Although I'm thinking I would prefer an I4 MTX, so I can use it as a DD and save some gas money over my two premium gas only gas suckers.
