Most of you know that I've been losing weight, though most of you only saw me in between, very few saw before or after. While I'm still in the process of losing weight, I wanted to show you all what I've "done" since September 4th when I started. All 89.1 lbs of it, lol.

Sorry, I don't take the best pictures in the world, but you get the idea anyway.

Oh **** man! Congrats! Few people know how hard it is to drop that much weight. That's incredible man. Keep it up!

I'm trying to drop 20 pounds for a triathlon that I hope to run, and even now I'm realizing that it's not as easy as everyone thinks. Its hard to keep that motivation up.

Great job, Mike! I'm trying to remotivate myself to loose about 40lbs.. lol I know how hard it is, good job man!

FYI: weight loss tips... follow a good diet plan and stick to it. I recommend the South Beach Diet. the 1st 2 weeks suck, but with SBD and 2 weeks of working out, I lost almost 30lbs (results are not typical for every person on SBD!) Cardi work! A good diet and a good, tough cardio workout (you HAVE to get your heartrate up or your just wasting your time) about 3 times a week (more if you have the time). If you aren't sweating.. you aren't working out hard enough!

(while I may not be a personal trainer, I have a couple friends who are, and I've done a good amout of research into various things.. I have a decent grasp of what to do.. haha)

Here's a good tip that i've followed...
cut down on stuff thats just naturally bad for you (fast food, soda, etc)
eat more whole grain breads, more fruits and veggies, and lean meats
then find some sort of cardio workout you really enjoy
mine's surfing, i can go out in the ocean for hours and not realize how much i've worn myself down till that night, because i just have so much fun doing it... and here I am, 190 lbs, and i can run longer than some of the long distance runners on my schools cross country team!

also, if you're eating good, i've found i start to crave good foods after working out too. i used to grab a soda from the fridge after school, now i'll go biking after school and come home and just naturally crave water

Congratulations Mike! I'm proud of you. I've said goodbye to 17 lbs in 4 weeks. I can't even imagine the satisfaction of almost 90 lbs! And thanks for what you said on myspace.

Thanks to all for your kind words. To answer your questions, I've been on the Nutrisystem diet (prepackaged diet food shipped to your door that you supplement slightly with a few fresh grocery items) and I haven't exercised hardly at all (though I should really start).

To Kendra, I thought your picture looked slimmer, good stuff! ...and you're welcome, let me know :)

Mike.

Mike, it was great to finally meet you this past week for the meet. I was impressed and shocked from before and after. That has to be the hardest thing to do, and obviously have positive results. Keep up the great work man. Take it easy

Excellent work, Mike!

Mike really looked great at the meet Feb 23 - if you look at his "After" pic, you'll notice he already has out-shrunk the clothes he was wearing!!

And yes, the car's enough lower so that only a stick figure would fit under it :)
