hey guys, i have an aftermarket moonroof in my cougar... and the bastards that installed it screwed up the stock headliner...they pretty much just hacked it up like crazy to make the moonroof fit.
i cant stand it, so i was thinking of buying a fiberglass headliner from top shop headliners. its $300 so im really skeptical about taking a blade to it.

how hard to you think it would actually be to make a custom fit that doesnt look like i did it myself?
should i even attempt it?

my other option is getting rid of the moonroof... how bad of an idea is that?

Why don't you take pictures of it first, then drive to where you got the job done and tell them why they had to do that.

I would.

i would but i didnt own the car when it was put in!!!! it sucks... i bought the car not realizing it was hacked up... i found out when i went to recover the headliner with black material...

but, i would like to meet the dumba** that installed it and ask him what the hell he was thinking.

If you mark the hole correctly it shouldn't be to hard to cut the hole.

yeah im thinking i could just take out the glass on my moonroof(dont know how hard that is....) and install the headliner in my car, then just stand on the outside of my car and trace the whole from the outside.
