My sister is an au pair in Den Haag in the Netherlands. I'll be visiting her from March 8-15. Just wondering if there were any cougars in the area.

Why not? In germany, there are approximately 10,000 cougars. In the netherlands are certainly a few thousand apiece on the roads too.
Maybe you can take a look at the memberlist on Euro-NECO.org (http://www.euro-neco.org) ;)
you can always come on down to sunny Croatia and check out my coug. :)

I'm from Belgium ( village: Meer) and I just checked Mappy and apparently Den Haag is only 91,81 km away from here :)
I don't really know dutch Cougar owners....and the only other Cougar owner I know is Assy :)
Yep as TM said I'm from Belgium too... I am about 200km from Den Haag (130miles)

I really wish i could come around and meet all you guys but my sister is stuck with the children she watches all the time so we can't really make any day trips to Belgium or Croatia.
Even if we could she's only got a bike with some seats in the front for the kids
I was just wondering if anyone was in biking distance since it looks like thats what I'm stuck with. thanks for all the replies though ;)

I'm afraid to say i live 120KM from your sister's address and that's to far away to ride on a bicycle:(

I have visited family in Amsterdam a few times and have not seen one Cougar. That city is mostly a bicycle city with a few cars running around though.

that's kind of upsetting - I was hoping to see a few euro cougars
I have just checked, and I am about 125miles from Den Haag...
A bit to far on a bicicle... If the cougar was ready and the weather was nice, i would have driven up to Den Haag, but to bad, the car isn't finished...

So I arrived in Amsterdam yesterday and I spent the day there, I've been in Den Haag all Day today. It's really a gorgeous country.
Also, The beer is awesome, It's so much better than the stuff in America. I've never had a Duvel, but I had a few at the pub today and they were delicous. The Beer alone almost makes me want to stay!

Nice! I'm glad you are having fun, it's a shame the weather is not helping:( but Holland without rain is like a desert without sand:biggrin:. I hope you take a lot of pictures of the landscape and the.........beautiful dutch girls:evil:
