Well its been 12 years since my last birthday party... perhaps it had something to do with being locked in a steamer trunk and driven around for 2 hours that turned birthday parties into a bit of a traumatic experience for me.


The celebration will start ~2pm at Nickle City. For those of you who have not been, its like a regular arcade cept everythings a nickle and all the old games are free [+ a $2 entrance fee]

The party does not end there. Everyones welcome back at my place in Elgin for beer, possibly food and open access to my video game collection. This will also mark one year of homeownership for myself.

I was just reading reviews of this place, and we should probably call ahead to see if they're gonna be open to the public, because a few reviewers said they got turned away at the door because there was a birthday party going on.. And since it's a Saturday close to spring break, there might be lots of parties.

eitherway, sorry to do this but I'm going to have to cancel the arcade portion of the meet. Bit nervious on trying out a place I havent been to in 10 years, plus I think its over an hour from my house. Eitherway we'll hit it up later this summer.
