Title probly throws this off but small question. is there a way to get the two buttons between the defroster and the secruity light to work? was wanting to know if there is a way i can wire it to where i can use it as a switch for the angel eyes?

Have you taken that piece out of the dash? A screwdriver is all you need. The center two are not buttons, but rather just stuck there. A few members have drilled out a hole and put a button, such as a start engine button there. So you CAN turn those into button, but it would be easier to add a button to the black piece than try to make it a working piece.

I think there is a How-to floating around somewhere about making those two into buttons. I remember seeing something about it at one point but am not sure where it is.

Id be interested in this if anybody can find it. I pulled mine out today just to look at it, and one of the defunct buttons has a harness in the back of it. Not sure why or what they go to (if anything), but I'd like to put switches in there as well.

i mean if anything i would put the buttons on it but i wanna hide the button. and i hate how those things are there and don't do anything. i mean if if i have to customise it to flip up and press a button or something just wanna hide the button don't like noticable switches and buttons.

you could also get the euro 3 button peice

yea i might do that now that i see that one it would make it easier to make that a button and just wire that to the angel eyes.
