Congrats! I have a year left, but I plan on getting it paid off before that.

And heh...sorry I've been gone so long guys. Busy at work, haven't had a lot of money for the car...and it's about at 100k (just tune-up'd though, runs like it did the day I got it).

Still wanna do headers and maybe some suspension work, but beyond that...just wanna get it paid and enjoy it :)

I'm not sure I will ever see the day that I have a car paid off. I would highly recommend that you continue to put the same amout of money aside every month into savings, and don't allow yourself to spend more then half of the money on mods and maintenance. That way you will have a nice down payment for your next car. Congrats.

I agree with Dan. Im beginning to despise my Cougar, just because I had to make it look like poop. Only a few have seen it in its current state, but it depresses me everytime I get in it. Maybe when I put it back togethor it will look fine.

Im eyeing a newer Mustang, but that would be dumb for me to have a car payment again when I would like to buy a house.

I remember when I paid off my first car. That was a great feeling.

THen we bought a mini-van. The DAY we made the final payment I went out and bought the cougar for 20 bucks less a month. LOL

hopefully I graduate, get my awesome job, they bring the Camaro back, I buy it and I have 2 car payments.... Umm 3 if I buy a New Camaro and don't get my wife something new I'll have 2 car payments and attorney fees. LOL
