Was cleaning out the garage and came across the antenna I had on the Cougar.
A fellow memeber made it so it's good quality.
Looking for $20 shipped if paid my MO, $23 shipped if you want to use Paypal.

Well it's only about 6-7 inches so it's not fantastic. But if you stay in the city you shouldn't have to much problems. I had XM so really didn't use the radio much.
It really looks sharp on the car. I can probably dig up some pics of it on the car when I get home tonight.

That does look pretty good. The one I have now is prob 12" and it looks decent, but shorter would be nice. Can you paint over the antenna, or would that affect the reception? I would think it would atleast a little bit. Not a huge fan of having the black base and then an aluminum antenna.

its not going to affect the reception. if you have the longer one and it gets decent reception stick with it. i had a 6" and it got bad reception, thats when i started making the 10" antennas and while they dont get stock reception its better than the 6"

I measured it and it's exactly 6 3/4".
I don't see why you couldn't paint it as long as it was prepped properly. Powder coat might be more durable.

yeah i think mine is actually one of the 10" ones. I cant remeber now.

I Have a black one if you want to paint over one you can buy the silver one, I'll ship you my black one and I'll take the silver one. Or If hte silver is for sale, I'll buy it and then I will have a black shorty for sale.

My car came with the shorty antenna from new
