forgot to mention that the k&n and the catback both have less than 5k miles on them. Also forgot to say that since i've owned the car, I always took it to valvoline to get full synthetic oil changes (I have the reciepts to prove).

I bought the exhaust brand new from true bends, and I bought the k&n fipk2 brand new from AAP. The car also has clear side makers. Theres about $1,000.00 in aftermarket parts on this car.

The car has PW, PDL, PS, A/C, CC, TW, Front Air Bags, CD Player : Cassette Player : AM/FM Radio, Moon Roof, Spoiler, Power Seat (drivers)

Car could use a front end alignment (I think) and a basic detail (wax & buff). I would honestly take this car anywhere without worries !!!

Car Value's

kkb's = $8,360.00
nada = $8,475.00

Honestly your price is a little high. Especially for an ATX around here. You can buy a Bone stock 01 for a lot less.

Here'sa few for sale, I'm sure you could get them to drop a lot on that price to.

2001 mercury cougar 66 ,000 miles (http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/car/537651122.html)

2001 Mercury Cougar C-2 (http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/car/562379383.html)

Not trying to beat you up on your price, but if you really want to sell it consider dropping your price a lot more.

i think 7,500 is fair for a car that book values for 8,500 ...
the car is clean and only has 46k on it !!!

i guess this site is leans more towards modded / beat up cougars ?!?!
i'll prolly be better of putting it in the paper, just thought id try on a cougar forum first

thanks,
- Dave

Wow maybe this car is worth it somehow you have less miles on it now.

Original post
01 cougar. Red exterior w/ black and silver interior. 2.5l v6 duratec. Atx. 47k miles. K&n fipk2. 2.5" dual exhaust borla catback w/ 3.5" tips. 2.5" ypipe w/ cat (brand new not installed yet). Stock parts come with car too...... $9,000 firm

Also I checked out your KBB price and first off your car is not in excellent condition especially if it need alignment. This would be consider good condition and here are the prices.
Kelley Blue Book - Private Party Pricing Report - Mercury, Cougar (http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingReport.aspx?ManufacturerId=32&YearId=2001&VehicleClass=UsedCar&VehicleId=4740&PriceType=Private+Party&ModelId=396&Mileage=47000&SelectionHistory=4740%7c20949%7c18109%7c0%7c0%7c18 3418%7ctrue%7c183427%7ctrue%7c183465%7ctrue%7c1834 85%7ctrue%7c183488%7ctrue&Condition=Good&QuizConditions=)

Excellent: 8,085
Good: 7,535
Fair: 6,815

So your really not making a deal that is 1,000 less than the car value its more like 35 bucks less.

D1A9J- I realize its offensive to have people tell you that your ride isn't worth what you think it should be, but don't insult our forums.

Everyone else, keep this on topic, if you have no interest in buying, don't post... If you want to give someone some advice, PM them, just as I did about 2 days ago to give D1A9J some advice about his pricing... We have rules, abide by them!

Thanks!
