anyone have info on them? their prices seem similar to katzkinz (who I've requested information from over a week ago with no answer) - way better on things like seat warmers and some of the addon things (top stitching, piping, etc). The pix they have on their site from customers cars look awesome - and saw a couple pix from other car forums - but otherwise had always heard katzkinz was the only place to get replacement leather covers from (short of a custom local guy).

They are a distributor of Katzkins, If you notice on their homepage that is a passenger 2001 cougar seat. :)
Check out | autoleathers.com | Custom Katzkin leather interiors for any vehicle. (http://www.autoleathers.com), they are the factory direct place for katzkins.

i am looking for an alternate to katzkin. their pattern looks different than the one katzkin uses - are you sure they are a distributor & not an independent company?

also found this comment on another forum Leatherseats.com used to just sell Katzkin like autoleathers.com, but has been making them in-house for the past five years. Both kits are the same price

Yes, and I have heard of someone on the boards who has ordered from leatherseats.com/autoleathers.com and was very happy with the results. But I do not remember who it was...

both mix vinyl with their leather - or have about a $200 upcharge for 100% leather. The accessory things thru leatherseats is way less than autoleather (katzin). Like autoleather's self install kit is something like $100. leatherseats is closer to $20.
In searching around, I also see a guy from leatherseats who does group buys on various other forums. think we could get 5-10 people from NECO interested? I could contact him if so.

I bought 2 sets from them. One was for my cougar and the other was for my mustang. Check my links in my sig. for pictures. I had no problems with them, and got the install kit to install them myself.

I would be interested in getting a set depending on the Price.

Just an FYI the factory seat is a mix of leather and vinyl according to seatman. From what he told me apparently almost all factory leather seats are actually vinyl on the sides, he said something about it holding up better do to the way the material flexes there.

Is seatman still around? If so ask him if he still has the seat cushions?

I don't believe so, I got my stuff from him probably about 3 years ago and at that point he was pretty much just down to scraps.
Also, for anyone that does get new skins to make them lay nice and to get the creases out of the material from being folded up in a box he said you could use an iron on the steam setting, but on the LEATHER PARTS ONLY. Do not attempt to iron the vinyl parts on the side. So, if you do this make sure you know what parts are leather and what parts are vinyl.

I would be glad to follow up with him, but now that I have a $1000ish vet bill, probably will not be replacing mine now (at least not in the near future) :(
