So my sun visor's hinge broke in my 1999 Kitty. At this point, I'd just like to take it off so that I can see where I'm going, then we'll work on getting a new one. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it off - I checked out the "recovering them" thread (nifty!) but it assumes you have it off already. Please help me before I get pulled over!!
Thanks all!

There is a cover that goes over the hinge.
Use your fingers or flat head screw driver to pop it off.
After you get the cover off there should be two or three philips head screws holding it on.

Simple - pop the caps off (on the far left or right side - depending if its the driver-side or passenger-side)
there will be two screws - take them off.
the visor will then be attached by a plug (probably covered in foam?) peel it back and there will be a little pressure clip thing... press it and pull the two ends apart.
done! :)
