Did someone saw that new nautilus performance non-cooled turbo kit ?

Beside injectors / intercooler / tune they offer everything for approx 2K$

Maybe I missed a thread ?

Yeah its actualy not that new its been available for a few months now a very nice kit but yeah the down side is that it doesnt come with injectors. Thier kits are nice but they only offer the 38mm waste gates and they are going to leak at some point in there life there for im getting it modified to a 44mm V-Band tial waste gate

I carry these same gaskets if you are worried about blow-outs I had zero blow-out since the kit does not move like others now the ADC kit I had more blow-out till I bought the metal gaskets plus you must torq down the bolts real tight and then start it and retorq them again. The problem with 44mm is that you don't have the room and if you are running over 500whp no need for it period remember I ran the 38mm over 400whp with no issues and I am goingo to break 500whp with one too. And ive actualy decided that im going with the intercooled kit cause i need the injectors and there is a pipe that goes through the unibody frame and over the turbo that the BOV mounts to that i need. I have the rest of the piping set up tho.

Oh you did get a better gasket :) Very nice yeh cause i was hearing nothing but ppl having blow outs not only from those kits but from other vehicles with that style and set up of gasket...I did not realize that there was a new metal one!

Is there much if any of a wait fo ur turbo kits? another question is i see your dyno charts start at 3000rpm but what rpms does the turbo start actualy boosting or is that when it starts boosting? Also i would email but it doesnt seem to work.. Does your kits come with the EGR off kit like the cap for the intake manifold and the cap for on the header?

Also you should offer different bar(psi) rated springs for the waste gate when buying the kit or offer them as a completely seperate item like you do with the headers:biggrin: Also the BOV for 300-350hp kit is it the Turbo XS-H or Turbo XS-H (RFL)

Thanks

I'm running a TiAL 38mm with the "metal ring" gasket and have had 0 issues thus far.

I have 3.5/7.25/8.0/15 psi springs in stock it is no extra cost just the choice plus the 300-350whp it is a must to have the 35mm BOV I have two choices the ported XS-H or the XS RFL at just a extra charge at $75 more than the type-s. We utilize the EGR connection all I have to do is turn it off in the tune and it will not open or I weld it shut if they ask. Joey

so can those springs be combined?

FastCougar

Yes, but only the smaller and larger can be combined. TiAL has a chart that is downloadable on their site. If anyone wants one, I have a 3.5 lbs. spring ... PM for price.

Cause i wanna get a about a 13psi or slightly higher spring set up. I looked at thier set ups and the large green spring is what im prolly wanting.

If you have a boost controller, you can roughly get 2.5 times your spring rate. I was getting 8-9psi from my 3.5 psi spring. Keep in mind that the spring will also start to "crack" roughly 1-2 psi below it's rating. That being the case, you will NEVER get the spring rating of psi without a boost controller. So, without a boost controller, you will never get 13 psi with a 13 psi spring. So, if your target is to never get above 14 psi and want to keep the car around 10-12 psi, I would get an 8psi spring and a boost controller. Then, with the boost controller off, you will make a MINIMUM of roughly 7 psi ... remember, the "crack" will not let it get to 8 psi. So, with an 8psi spring, you would have a minimum of roughly 7 psi and an a top range of roughly 16-20 psi with a boost controller.

So what you saying is in order for me to hit 13psi cause thats what i want to run around i want say with a 14-16 psi spring?

If you're gonna run off wastegate pressure only and not with a boost controller, then you run a spring weight at about the point hwere you want max boost to be. Don't go heavier.

WG pressure alone may cause peak boost to fluctuate (ie miss peak boost target or spike) vs. using some type of boost control to allow boost to build smoothly and hold.

You use a spring to set the minimum boost... it's always good to run a lighter spring in the case of some type of failure.

Great EBC's will really keep boost where it needs to be, but of course they are costly and often not recommended to newbie's to tune.

If I where you Sheldon, I would go with an 8psi spring and a manual boost controller (cost between $55-$100 for a really nice one).

How does this look for a manual boost controller :) Can a guy use enough vacuum hose to route it to the interior? Or not a good idea?

I would opt for the cheaper $56 TurboLogic unit ... they both function exactly the same, so there is no need to spend more money on the unit other than looks. I bought both the TurboLogic unit and the AEM TruBoost EBC and used the EBC instead, so I still have the TurboLogic unit if you want it.
