View Full Version : my 3.0 is alive, again

Well after some hiatus my 3.0L is back- I put the new clutch in and have been driving it around. The spring on the center hub broke out of it's bracket and got thrown between the clutch and flywheel. Oh, and the center bolt on the trans. mount sheared. I am driving around with it broken, but im gonna buy a new one once ford is open. We must have fixed some problems that occured last time it was out, because it runs better and pulls harder. I put down 213whp on the last dyno and am having my car retuned with some new minor mods in expectation of 220whp. Merry christmas to all!

minor mods are gutted (fell apart so i took the rest out) trubendz cat, 3" intake, new filter, etc

I used another SVT clutch kit since it was covered under warranty. I want to try eb3 motorsports for my retune, you should check them out, I think thats where danG went.

Yeah, that sounds about right... mine has been sitting for 2 years now... and it will be in progress within the next 2 months, and hopefully done by end of May... I miss my car!

July 5, 2004. all the clear had to be razor-bladed off due to some manufacturer defect. and the car has been sanded down. it'll be ready for paint on monday...err later today
red cougar had same problem, thats been resanded and looks like ****. thats why no pics greg.
