Cupholder

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't locate any threads on it. Where do I buy another cup holder, the one in my car when I bought it is broke. I'm tired of having a cup holder in the passenger seat, and if someone is in the seat then I have to hold it between my legs and hope to god it doesn't spill. Maybe get it from the Stealership and pay and arm and a leg? Thanks!:eek:

You can probably order the broken piece from the dealership...check Team Ford Parts Online (http://www.teamfordparts.com).

You could also upgrade to an 01/02 console and have a real cupholder instead of the cupspiller that you have now.

Would u happen to have a picture of the newer console? Is it easy to put the newer console in? (blonde friendly?) Thanks!

The only one I could find, but you can see there is an actual cupholder there.

One thing to consider though is that the 01/02 consoles are a true black, whereas you can see from the picture the dash is more of a grey, and there will be a difference in the color.

Some late 2000 cars came with the newer console and there were the grey color...it might be hard to find one though.

As far as installing it, I'd say it's fairly blonde friendly :) Just a few screws. The hardest part is probably getting it over the ebrake handle.

I agree, that is a very clean interior Wade. Gimme a little info on the push button ignition that I think I spy in those pics. Also, does your shift knob get hot or anything if it sits in direct sunlight? That's the only reason I haven't gotten one like that yet, I was worried it would get really hot/cold.

That's the B&M shift knob that comes with the short throw. It doesn't get that warm, but that ***** does get cold. I switched back over to the standard 01/02 black leather/silver. I like that one a lot better.

I molded my XM radio controller and that push button start into that ashtray delete piece. Never bothered to hook up the pushbutton though....RICE!! :rofl:
