Is anyone selling HID's, preferably locally? (GTA) Let me know what you've got as I may be interested.

Thanks,

Mike.

I picked up a set from this place -> XenonDepot (http://www.xenondepot.com/)

The kit looks unbelievable. We'll be installing them when it gets a little warmer.

FYI, I can get Hella HID conversion kits, start at around $180.00 and upwards for most common bulb sizes. I can also get Ignited Performance Product HID conversions, but they are more money.

-Crazy- What color temp. is your kit? Is it straight plug and play? And where are you located?

Thanks.

edit: Also this is for my Cougar(incase anyones wondering what size I need lol) and I would prefer used as my budget is fairly low (100$ max).. Thanks.

I don't think he's selling the kit. I think that's the kit he has installed.

LOL... sry for the confusion... it is a kit i installed, 6000k just in case, i just ordered it on ebay.

so if u r looking at cheaper solution - it is what u could consider.

are the lights brighter than before? Can you change the bulbs out if they blow?

I'd be worried about getting a cheap kit or almost any aftermarket kit for that matter. Its hard to know whats good and whats not with all the cheap knock off around.

i got the exact kit as CRAZY two weeks ago, except i went with the 10000k. Its a blue/ purple color, almost like a bmw but i think there nicer since they dont change to white as you look from differnt angles like most high end cars. I payed about $97 shipped to my house and installed them in about an hour (straight forward plug and play). All ive had so far was nothing but complimants:)

Keep in mind that the higher the number (kelvin rating), the less useable light you get.

So, a 4300K HID kit would give you better lighting than a 10,000K kit.

It all comes down to what you like though. I prefer a lower rating and pure white light.

Yea I agree, I would be giong with something along the lines of 6000K- max 8000.... So maybe I should go with this VVME kit. You guys got them all off of Ebay? Can someone direct me to a more specific seller from ebay that can be trusted?

Thanks guys.

6000K is going to be white with a slight bit of blue.

8000K is going to be blue.

Here is a pretty good comparison:

I know what the different color temps look like (i have 2 bmw's, one running stock 4300 and one 6000) but i just want to know where i can get this VVME kit that can be trusted..
