Haha, It snowed quite a bit here actually.. not any flurries like that in the picture, but it was covered on mine.. That's one thing I really don't like about the winter, there's always winter storage, but I Need my car, so, it'll have to be snow cat :P I love the color of your cat, I know it'll look really great when it's cleaned up.. After winter I plan to take the Clay-bar set from Wal-mart about $15 and take it to mine.. It's suppose to work wonders  I can't wait to see all you have in mind for the cat though :)

As of right now, as soon as the weather breaks me and the bf, are going to wash, scratch x polish it, then clay bar it. He's going to polish the wheels REALLY well for me.
I plan on tinting the Windows about 20% all around. I think I'm going to hold off on wheels for a while, but I may put a 12 or something in the back. Maybe, Idk yet.
Anyone have any suggestions on small things I could do??

Thanks.

if you look in the how to section there is a cheap mod thread
also when u detail the car, polishing comes after clay barring....claybars remove everything from the top coat of the paint (ie old wax, debris, overspray, polish)

Oh I know how to do it, I just didnt put them in order, I typed them as I came to them.

Do you think 20% is dark enough to go on the tint w/o getting that green look? I have a 98 zx2 that has 35% and it looks green at times, well only the front windows are 35 everything else is 20??

Also, if anyone knows where I can buy OEM headlights (website or someone has them) I would appriciate it. Thanks a lot. I'm kinda new to this stuff thansk yall..

I have 20% on my cougar and it looks great. Although, I must say, I had a great tint provider in Lost Creek. If you live in the central part of the state I'd recommend her. (I'm from WV too)

n K.A.R ??? Yeah, we take our vehicles to Kristy. She is really good I would recommend her to anyone. I like how she takes it all the way to the edge of the window then files it down.

Yep, I was talking about Kristy. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. She's done 6 or 7 cars for me now.

Yeah, Brett had his cougar there , his new f150, our zx2, and soon to be my cougar. I just love how she wears those bib overalls.

this is my car wrapped 20% all around back in like.. september or something, when it was really hot and sunny out, granted it is pitch black at night time, had them since then and still no fade/green/purple effect still looks great, thats about as much penetration with light that you get unless your dome light or stereo is on lighting up, the back was also able to be done in one sheet, so i dont have terrible lines where the tint ends and more begins :D

yeah that looks, good I'll probably get mine done in Feb. Do you think thats a ok time?? does it really matter??

did you look at the pictures she has up?? If so that other black cougar with the big chrome wheels there was the bf's old cougar.

I've found that it doesn't really matter what time of year you get it done. In the colder months you just have to allow more dry time before you pop your windows down. I'm sure I've seen the picture of your other Cougar, but I just don't have that good of a memory. And the overalls are definitely the bomb. If you ever have trouble getting your cars passed through inspection because of your tint (I had a lot of trouble in Buckhannon), I know a shop in Weston that couldn't give less of a crap.

No, we never have any trouble. Well in Braxton they could care less about window tint. Since Brett is a firefighter he is around the state troopers here alot and they said they have never taken their tint things out of the box. lol

Marius

Those dang tint monitors are better off in the box anyway. :) A friggin Braxton state trooper gave me a ticket one time. A-holes.

nope not yet, usually if i see a cop ill roll my passenger window down so light gets in the car and you can see through the windows like its 35%, also if u have a sunroof if u open that it will make the tint more transparent with the light in the car, its pretty dark but driving at nighttime is still alright, as long as their are streetlights around i can see but if there are none i cant see out my sides or rear all i have is my windshield

The boyfriend has this windows at 20% in his truck, and he always tells me that if we get pulled over to roll the window down as we are pulling over. He has done came up with a reason why its down and everything...
