I just learned that I've got SEVENTEEN rear valences by Roush Peformance. (I thought I had two.) This is part of the body kit that fits over the back bumper. Everyone with a Roush kit should think about getting a spare rear valence. I have replaced mine twice due to getting rear ended. [Once was on the highway and once was while my car was parked.]

These were selling for $150 but I'll let 'em go for $100. Shipping through UPS is another $100. The cost is the same if I ship two in the same box, so if two buyers live near each other, that's the way to go. Or if you want a spare, it's only $75 more.

EDIT: Payment is due before 12/17. Paypal ALUMNUS at VT dot EDU. Thanks.

I have a limited supply of painted valences in the following factory colors. Please put your name in the spot beside the valence type you want.

I am currently checking on shipping estimates. USPS will not ship a package of this size.

I changed it from being unpainted to Silver, as long as its silver frost...like the fronts I got from you...

I just confirmed that shipping through UPS is just over $100. I need to find out if these come boxed. If not, I need to tack on $20. Even so, the cost does not go up if I ship two in the same box, so if two buyers live near each other, that's the way to go.

Note that five of the valences are already painted factory colors. Please call dibs as instructed.

I'm pretty sure these do not fit an 01-02 rear bumper.
Installation of the rear valance requires you to drill three holes into the bottom of the stock bumper(where the exhaust cut outs are).
I think the horizontal slats on the 01-02 bumper would interfere..it might be possible with some modification..

Someone else can chime in if I'm wrong.

I don't remember having to modify the stock bumper in order to fit the rear valence. Nevertheless, the Roush kit fits only 1999-2000 model year bumpers.

I'd be in on this for sure if I knew someone down this way, even if they were across the boarder was willing to split on shipping. Like I see why its that much to ship, but I feel like UPS is just slapping me in the face and laughing with that price. lol

The part is made and manufactured in the US. Therefore it's duty free, therefore they CANNOT legally charge you a customs fee.

Ship with Fedex FFS, you'll find a BIG difference.

Tell me more. When I tried to get a quote from FedEx, the web site first said that I had to look at freight services. Then when I went to get a freight quote, they said that they won't ship auto parts. The bumper measures 77" x 25" x 11"

Say, you are right across the border from Buffalo. Where are you having the work done? There's a custom car shop, known as The Car Shop (http://www.thecarshopny.com/locations.php3), just south of Buffalo. They have assembled some amazing rides. Anyway, if you were going to have it installed in the US, then that would solve the problem.

Ya, I was figuring I would have it sent to an address in the US to avoid the customs fees and extra charges for international shipping... Be nice though if someone along the boarder was getting in on this buy near me and we could split shipping though...

Sorry, I was mostly reffering to Teebs thinking that he's talking about border fees...UPS is INSANE for over charging, Fedex doesn't.

As far as Fedex shipping, take the spoiler TO the location. I don't trust their website. I was quoted $120 to ship something based on the measurements, when I took it to them, I was able to ship it for $40. The box had an upper dash shroud, headlights, and left and right dash pieces. I shipped it essentially from DET to L.A. UPS goes by weight here, or size (whichever is MOST) Fedex, goes by size mostly, but factors in the weight as well.

EDIT: We are talking about a spoiler here right? Seems aweful big by the measurements. 25'' Width?

Hey if you would like just have it sent to my address. I live like 30 mins from Buffalo. I'd be willing to deliever it to you if you wanna save on the Duty costs. This goes for anyone else in CANADA!!! I'd be more then happy to help you guys out for the Roush sexiness.

Yes, sorry, things got delayed some but everything that wasn't previously shipped is going out tomorrow morning. Problem was that nobody makes boxes big enough to fit the rear valences, so I took the biggest boxes I could find and extended them about six inches. It should reach you just fine in a few days. You should have received a tracking number in the email account you used to pay me.

BTW, I still have a couple of these left from people who backed out, so if somebody decides they want one, and they don't need it immediately, let me know. We might be able to work something out. Thanks.

Hmm, I`m interested in several Roush parts, if there are more available.
Would it be possible to ship as many parts as possible in 1 box?
As I`m in Norway, shipping is a major hassle (and not to mention expensive).

If you've got any of these still available please let me know. I'm on the hunt for my body pieces so I can get the car into paint in the next couple months. If you can track down any side skirts, PLEASE let me know as well.

Hi i live in France. But i'm not french:) how much to ship one over my way that's provoded you still have stock?

gamiller
01-11-2008, 05:42 PM
I can ship within the U.S. for $100. International shipping is double that, unless I can squeeze it into a much smaller box... somehow.

Bobby, we also have a couple passenger side skirts and driver side fronts left. LMK.
