3.0 l swapp which tranny?

can u use the stock 3.0l tranny? better yet what tranny is used on the 3.0 l?
also i am planny on using a automatic cuz the wife has a hard time driving a manual!anyways just curious on your guys ideas?One last thing if any one can tell me what the weak pionts are in the automatic?

Use the stock Cougar tranny if at all possible. Going from MTX to an ATX should be a big job! One weak point of an automatic is they are slow as turtles.

I wouldnt ever want to tie the 3L to an automatic again... if you must you'll be using the stock cd4e but likely will need to come out again in 20,000 miles or less when it stops working correctly.

You'd be better off selling the current manual car and getting an automatic car if you want to go that route. The 3L automatic will not work in our cars.
