WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
LATE SATURDAY NIGHT.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SATURDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN. SNOW AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES
BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION CHANGES TO SLEET AND THEN EVENTUALLY
FREEZING RAIN. HIGHEST SNOW AMOUNTS SHOULD BE IN THE FOND DU LAC
AND SHEBOYGAN AREAS WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TOWARD THE ILLINOIS
BORDER.

OF MORE CONCERN IS THE AMOUNT OF GLAZE THAT COULD ACCUMULATE ON
TOP OF THE SNOW BY SATURDAY NIGHT. CURRENT INDICATES ARE THAT
WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATIONS OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN TOTALING ONE
QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH WILL FALL ON TOP OF THE SNOW. NEEDLESS TO
SAY...TRAVEL CONDITIONS COULD BECOME VERY DIFFICULT. THE POTENTIAL
FOR ICE ACCUMULATIONS TO DAMAGE TREES AND POWERLINES ALSO NEEDS TO
BE CONSIDERED. ICE ACCUMULATIONS WOULD LIKELY BE HIGHEST AWAY
FROM THE WARMER SHORES OF LAKE MICHIGAN.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS

yah we got a tiny dusting as well... we start calendar parking tonight at midnight (even odd crap) so the SVT is now in the garage and the Subie is in the driveway...

we had a few accidents from 7a-9a but otherwise its been quiet. We started odd even on the 15th and people still dont get it..

hells ya.. last snow we got I was trying my absolete hardest to get my tires to break free in the snow/ice... it was impossible and I was even slightly liquored up. LOL :evil:

I'm just really sad that my Subie lost its nice garage stall.

guess I am wrong... but I think I need them... about 3 times a week stupid idiots dont see me next to them in the right lane and they always attempt to come over at me until I honk the hell outta them and they realize I'm there.

wowsers... tons of snow here today... havent seen a snowplow at all yet but we are over 7 inches here at work

If they havent plowed it looks like I will be doing it on my own with my Greddy Lip for the 22 mile trip home :(

I just went AWD drifting around the block a few times at almost 50mph and LOVED it!
unreal.

I agree... it took me a little time to get used to it... all the shift points, gear ratios, redline and whatnot are completely different from my SVT that I learned on.

we can learn on Waynes SVT.... after that I can show you what the WRX is capable of and hopefully tempt you into trading your soccer wagon in on a Subie

I think we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow... I dont mind it anymore now that I have the WRX but if we get more snow I dont know where we will put it... you blow it and it just falls down because its aready too high of a snow bank.
