I will be buying a new IMRC in the spring. I don't really want to try a junkyard and *hope* it is functioning. I'd rather drop the extra $$ and buy the new one and just relocate it right away.

I agree... But this works for me :cool: I can't see spending those crazy dealer prices. :crazy: I'm thinking maybe I'll pick up a new transistor for my old one and repair it in case this one takes a dump in the next year or two.

Ha dont forget to put a Not for sale sign on the car lol. I remember when i had to bring my car to a ford dealer for an alt replacement and someone tryed buying my car from the sales peeps. I stay away from that place now lol.

You mean whitaker lincoln mercury? The Ford dealer is just Inver Grove Ford here.

Nope Tousley is also where I go for parts because Steve up there is the man! I think he quoted me $135 btw, but that's flipping insane for a box I got for a few dollars at the junkyard and it works. Again, I don't blame you for wanting a new one though, If it were my Contour I'd be the same way.

And if you go up to the parts counter and ask for Steve he will for sure get you the good deal. You can tell him I sent you (Redlineracer12/ Tony w/Contour and Cougar) I usually call ahead and have him put the parts on will call so they are ready when I get there.
