Is it me? Or does the interior of your cougar scratch very easy?
I am wondering if any of you are replacing the area by the drink holder? any info would be helpful.even would like to replace the shifter?

yeah, it does... it's cheap plastic...
but with that cupholder... i think we all wanna replace that stupid thing with a NEW one... a late 00 or 01. i/expressions/smile.gif

easy fix for ya.... sand, prep and paint... hehehhe i/expressions/devil.gif look even better than new after... hehehhe
or better yet, get a 01 console..
looks better, and isn't nearly as flimsy overall as the older design.
and has a functional cupholder

i must not look very closely at things inside my car ... i don't think that i have any scrathes... and now i am afraid to look !!!

And I will have to look for the 01 style. Thanks for info.
I think it scratches easy for me, as I am in outside sales and live in that car,always writing and tossing my crap around..appreaciate the replies.
