Alright so i let everyone know that my Tranny is getting work done on it.
Well he called me earlier today and said that my radiator is leaking now my brake lights wont shut off.... i told him i said ya'll did something to it because when i put it on the tow truck to get it over there, the brake lights were fine and so was the radiator.... so ya'll paying for something to get it back to me or else ya'll only getting half the pay of the clutch.
Well his responce is still $2,000 dollars thats only the clutch though. So my guess with that being said he is paying to fix my radiator and my brake lights. so something less i have to worry about next time it goes into the shop i hope.

2,000 for the clutch? My friend got one done for 900 with a stage 2 clutch and i thought that was high. But most likely they did mess up your radiator and lights and are adding the price of them in the 2,000. Atleast I hope.

Nah they are actually replacing the whole tranny. My mom drove it before i did and they said whats wrong with it probly has been like that for like 2 years and my mom handed it to me all paid off. i've only had the car for a year and it was acting funny before i got it. she just now is paying attention to the car she got me. She paid more attention to her new mustang then my cougar when she had it.. i'll put it this way
Cougar- was never kept up to date on oil changes and the like 10,000 mile checks were never done till i brought the car in to do it
her mustang-every oil change been done and every 5,000 miles its checked
she spent more time on her mustang now then she ever spent on my cougar and now im having to pay out of my pocket for the things she never did.

i know how you feel. when i was building the engine and turbo kit the car was pushed out of my garage and sat in front of the basketball goal. it had no front bumper or headlights. she just looked so sad. it sat like that for 3 months. every day leaving for work i had to drive past it. that sucked. i had to borrow my grandparents 91 lebaron convertable, that was scary. i was lucky if the speedo worked. then the day came where i got to turn the key on the fresh engine. you can only imagine how excited i was to get my car back.

$2,000 to replace the clutch! Sounds like you're getting raped.

You could still do better then 2K.... If your really picky
You can just find a tranny with like 20k miles on it for like 400-600 bucks and get a stage 3+ for 575 and still be at about 2k in the end. Cause beleave me, the shops gonna be using a tranny most likely thats 1,200$.
