I need something to do during the day. Looking for a good 10-20 hour part time job. Pay isnt extremly important, but needs to be a job thats enjoyable and kind of fun. I'd like for it to be kind of flexible. Just need something to do during the time off in the afternoon when I get off of UPS (around 11 in the morn). Alot of people on the boards here know Im a work-aholic and don't have a problem with calling off or passing a drug test. Let me know if you guys have any good ideas for me. I'd like to make 9-10 an hour, but flexibility and an enjoyable workplace are the most important part to me.

If you love where you live and the ppl work for autozone... i know some ppl might say differently but I work there weekends and its fun with my coworkers and regular customers!
Only negative i have to say are the customers that swear they know everything or the ones that dont know anything!!!!!

i was the guy at wal-mart who built the bikes in the kids department for a while. I got 9 bucks an hour and i sat on my ass in a corner and built 2 or 3 bikes a day. the job was pretty easy but working for wal-mart sucked.

Does Best Buy have a decent flexibility? What do they usually start at hourly? I don't plan on buying much there, so the discount isn't a big deal. Walmart? Could be good I guess, if they gave me something like that, just so its not registers or stocking shelves. Bartender? Thought about it, but I really know nothing about alcohol except the few drinks I do to get me WASTED! Heh. Autozone? That'd be cool, do they pay pretty decent? I could use the discounts there... I'd love to work a pt with weekends off, but you can only really find that in warehouses like UPS/Fedex, and I can't work anywhere but UPS in relation to that due to my contract.

90% of being a bartender doesn't have anything to do with the drinks.

Work at Sheetz! I hear it's REALLY flexible. I don't know how much it pays though.

I'd check into either Autozone or Advance Auto Parts. Last time I worked for them I was making like $7.50-$8.00 an hour. I'm sure it's gone up since then. And maybe just browse the classified section. Also Circuit City, Best Buy, or a place like that could work too. Just take a trip down the Pike one day and see what's there.

i work part time at kmart, hours are really flexible, but what they expect out of us for the amount they pay us, it really isnt worth it, so if ur looking for a part time job make sure u find one where they dont expect u to be god for a measely 7 bucks an hour

yeah best buy is def flexable....hardest thing is to pass the little peronality test which is part of the application. i got through it my first try...but i know alot of people who couldnt pass it. but yeah i started last December and they started me at 9.50 pretty good for part time retail.

I work at walmart right now for $7.40/hour. Drive 58 miles total to work but it's ok cause my Cougar is gettin about 29MPGs right now.. It's only my second day. I was put in the most stressful department they could think of, ELECTRONICS. I stock lots of shelves, help customers find things, blah blah, and work the register a little. I'm tired of it already though.

does best buy pay for the test? I cant imagine most people just go take the course on their own, its about 85 bucks just to take the course according to the first google site I brought up.
