Who all lives in Tampa/Brandon?
My family is moving there this december, which means I'll be down there when I get back to the States. More importantly, I'll be relocating to the Tampa area in June when I get out of the Corps, until I begin taking classes at UCF and living in Orlando.

I'm here in Tampa Bay! I attend 1 class in Tampa 1 day a week. I'm just across the bay from Tampa (Seminole if you look on a map).
Don't go to *****lando! Stay in Tampa. USF Rocks. ;)

Well its not like the two are terribly far apart.
How active is the tuner community there? (and how much of a pain in the ass are the cops about it?) I here there's a really nice drag strip in Brandon, but I could be mixed up.

Well, I don't know about in Brandon, but Joey and Ian could tell you more about stuff in Pinellas County. All night, cops would break up people on 60 (bridge from Clearwater to Tampa) and then they'd go to the Gandy (bridge from St Pete to Tampa) then they'd go back and forth all night long. Great fun, great fun.
As for Orlando and Tampa, they're approximately 100 miles apart. There is alot more to do in Orlando (more theme parks and bigger city all around), but I like Tampa best personally. I've been all around UCF and didn't enjoy the campus at all. Know what it stands for? "Under Construction Forever"....but I hear USF stands for "U stay forever"

I'm into both, really. The racing scene always takes precedence though. Gotta love the rush!
And I dont have enough cash to dump into my car to go for show (yet anyway)

Ok, so my parents just bought a house in a Plant City subdivision called Walden Lakes.
Its really nice, but I didnt see a lift in the garage so I'm going to have to do some remodeling when I get down there.

Anyway, here's some pictures of the new pad.
I havent seen the full thing, especially the exterior/driveway/neighborhood, but it looks ideal for summer meet ;). I could imagine a NECO cook-out with plenty of beer, hamburgers, and hot-tubbin'!

Ok, scratch that. We arent getting the aforementioned house for a host of reasons (broken pool heater, termites, other vermin, and a host of other crap that the previous owners tried to conceal).
The 'rents found a better house just a few blocks away for sale. Not sure what the deal is on that one, but apparently it's 2 stories, pool, yadda yadda. Its up for foreclosure or something so my parents should be getting a good deal on it (and using that extra money to buy a jacuzzi )

Hopefully they'll get that house. Sorry to hear about the other one. Toy's and Ty's posts reminded me of a Rascal Flatts song... it's HILARIOUS!
Here's some of the lyrics (think honky tonk really fast country music when you read this):
I was sitting on a bar stool
In a barbecue joint in Tennessee
When this ole boy walked in
And he sat right down next to me
I could tell he'd been through some hard times
There were tear stains on his old shirt
And he said you wanna know what you get
When you play a country song backwards
You get your house back
You get your dog back
You get your best friend Jack back
You get your truck back
You get your hair back
Ya get your first and second wives back
Your front porch swing
Your pretty little thing
Your bling bling bling and a diamond ring
Your get your farm and the barn and the boat and the Harley
First night in jail with Charlie
Sounds a little crazy, a little scattered and absurd
But that's what you get when you play a country song backwards
Well I never heard it said quite like that
It hit me in the face cause that's where I'm at
I almost fell flat out on the floor
He said wait a minute that's not all theres even more
