this has been racking my brain for a while... for the turbo guys, did u have to weld a bung onto the oil pan for the oil return line, or were u able to tap the pan? i know turbo zetec tour was able to tap his, just wondering about eveyrone else... and whereabout were u able to tap it? thanks guys.

thanks for the pic, does anyone know if the v-6 pan is thicker or as thick as the zetec pan? i live in redford also, unless thats a different redford

Prob the same(as for location not thickness), I live next to livonia. Well have to meet up some time.

The Zetec Oil pan is pretty thin. Its sheet metal thickness, so you will probably have a hard time tapping it.
Mine is welded. I'll have to get a pic.

i figured its too thin, i just didnt feel like having to pull the pan, but i guess i do, oh well. darksleeper, i also live right next to livonia, off west chicago.
