Ok, it seems like we've dropped off activity-wise as of late, so lets start next year off with a good meet. Anyone up for another Rockingham meet, sometime in late Feb/early March? Or maybe another Raleigh cruise?

SlamSession should also be kicking off sometime in April so I'll look into that too.

The 23-24th of February Bucky. We'll be back stateside then, and unless Andyman decides to go all uppity and deploys, we should all be in-country.

I think this meet should be a "beat some sense it Eric" meet. His damned priorities are apparently very screwed up. And if he doesnt want to attend, well, kidnapping is always an effective option!

EDIT: Hey Chase, try to get your springs before that so we can have a bit of a mod meet too, if that is an option. I'll have plenty of go-fast parts waiting for me when I get down to FL once this little vacation is over with.

Well, theres definitely the CougarFest cruise, and I'll be joining up with whatever groups I can muster from FL, COOGA, and NCNECO, so we can have one big caravan of kickassery on the way to Fest. This Feb meet is more of a small get-together. We'll do lunch and drive around a bit, but the area around the Rock is pretty sparse. I'd definitely be up for another Raleigh meet sometime in March - May, once it warms up. The drag strip is more friendly to my car when its colder though.

If we're doing a city cruise it needs to be warm out. I'm sure we'll have a great time at Big Show, and if anyone wants to go to SlamSession, theres that too. I had a blast at SlamSession last year, even if I broke my hand and almost lost rank :rofl:

February 16th or 17th, Rockingham Dragway in NC. Bring some cold weather clothing because it was chilly there last year at about the same time, and I dont see why it will be different this year, but on the plus side, your car will like it.

And for Chrissakes, if I'm the only one running the strip I'll be a bit irked. Lets not have a repeat of last year! I figure we meet sometime around 11-12, hang out for a little while, go and grab some food and head back to the track for the day. Andyman is more familiar with the area for additional activities. It'll be a good opportunity for the new guys to meet the NC crew (or whoever decides to show up) and have some fun with their cars. If desired, we could go on a little cruise through a nearby city.

EDIT: And I vote the following meet (if its not a car show) be held in SC if we can get enough participation seeing as we've held all the previous meets I can remember in NC. Maybe we should extend some fingers out to other clubs for the next one?

well, i know where a bar/ food joint is in Rockingham. Has pool tables. Also know where a bowling alley is about 30min away. I Know a few locals that might be able to hop out there and can give us ideas on what to do. Also, is this going to be a mod meet?

Eh, nah, not this early in the year. I think this will be primarily a track meet, though, parking lot upgrades are always a possibility. I just hope you arent planning on throwing a Nautilus system on it or something lol.

Fayetteville isn't very far away from the Rock either if the town of Rockingham is proven to be too desolate a place.

other than the track rockingham has nothing. its about as desolate as you can get. the new strip down in charlotte right near the speedway aint gonna open soon enough!
