:banghead:We need more discussion on this MN board....I know winter is near..But seriously...Someone's gotta be building something or doing something interesting...Although Spin Saturday before Halloween was fun in bottle service.

Hmmm, I've been posting a bunch on my project?

Want me to post about my gas tank leak I'm attempting to fix this w/e? Or the Control Arms I'm hopefully replacing?

This project doesn't seem to be coming to an end. I've also got a flip chip with tune on the way, got my eye on a set of winter wheels/tires, looking for new speakers, that's just to get the car up to my liking....

Also have more parts coming for the SVT, Adjustable/Tubular rear toe control arms to replace my bent rear tca's

Nearly spun the SVT in to the ditch over the weekend. Snow and summer tires don't get along very well. Felt like I was driving on ball bearing in a rear wheel drive car. The rear of the car kept wanting to drift out on me. Blizzaks to the rescue.

Hopefully I'll be getting mine soon :) Waiting on a certain set

Not that it's been snowing down here lately though. Haven't even worried about it yet.

Yeah, I am just starting to tear into my cougar. I've been fighting with the 4 year project that wont go away (Malibu in my pic). I got nearly 4000 hours into that thing, its fun when conditions allow for driving it and the 4mpg 100+ does not hurt too bad...Hopefully this cougar will go quciker and be a bit tamer...Starting a 3.0 svt in the next couple of weeks.

I donno about that, it's probably going to be harder to work on

I'm done with one control arm, one to go. Then I have to find a way to get my filler neck to stop leaking. I already replaced the clip and boot that clamp it to the tank but it's still leaking pretty badly.

You leaking where the rubber hose joins the tank? Check the solder joint on the connection stub on the tank. Typically they get soldered on and it will sometimes crack out if the hose was moving around at all and putting stress on the joint. Also if clamps on the hose were very tight sometims you will get a small dimple in the stub that will cause a leak.

This is no rubber hose. The metal filler neck goes all the way into the tank and the tank sort of clips onto the filler neck to seal it. It's not a very good setup in my mind

Bogus...I m out of good ideas then...How about a fuel cell and -an lines...Was a good solution on my Chevelle...No more leaks and looks good. Just got my cougar heads today...Nice port n polish job...Getting excited to put it together right.
