How many current members are running v6 turbo setups? Been awhile since I kept up with the forums and the new batch of members.

Yeah the new engine is in and going through tuning now. We should be fully wrapped up by thanksgiving with fresh paint and finished engine break in period and tuning.

 I think we should focus on the Gojirra WRX

eh, the Godzilla is awesome but it's now going on a friends Skyline. I'm doing a dual bov setup. It sounds stupid amazing!!

I did have a small boost leak with the Gojirra but it did open all the way. The piston doesn't have that much travel at all, I opened it up and checked out the spring. I may go back to it but I'm more concerned with injectors at the moment. Micah wants more boost:biggrin:

Understandable. The gojirra is not practical as of right now for me either. Dual BOV does sound like its amazing.

and he was begging me for it:rofl: He gets the skyline back today and I'm going with him to get it tuned tomorrow. We're gonna slap it on and see how it sounds compared to the wrx.

I'm running a supercharged setup I designed:

3L Duratec (http://www.3lduratec.com/supercharger.html)

intercooler pics:
http://www.newcougar.org/forums/forced-induction/100426-interest-supercharger-setup-40.html

dyno info:
http://www.newcougar.org/forums/forced-induction/100426-interest-supercharger-setup-45.html

I still need to get some updated pictures, 3L builds have been taking up all my time lately. I've since cleaned up the engine bay a bit. I added a black 90 degree coupler to replace the red one, added a tensioner to the kit to eliminate belt slip, and ran braided oil lines.

I'm just about to order the nautilus stage 1 upgraded kit but still in the process of rebuilding the motor and transmission to handle it a lil better, so by spring when the snow is gone and my 3" ground clearance car can come out again it shall be turbo'd:tongue:

I dyno'd 391.9hp/374.2 tq on a home made kit @ 11 psi. I have since dialed in my EBC and have hit 22 psi (which renders 1st - 4th useless). I need to get it on the dyno again, but I have some issues that need resolving before I do (oiling and cooling issues).

22psi..........

No no- The reason to drool is the fact that it's a T3/4 doing that much pressure...

He has no traction when the turbo spools.

Again, this is all right foot commanded, so if I lift slightly and run the car at say 3/4 throttle, it's blazing fast. However, anything over 11 psi on the street at full throttle, no matter the speed will brake the tires loose each and every time. Cruising in 4th gear @ 75-80MPH @ roughly 3,500-3,800 RPM ... floor it and the car will loose traction @ 4,200 RPMs every time ... it's insane!

-FastCougar- Don't you have a video of your car on the dyno somewhere around the forums? I thought I saw it the other day!

Thought about a custom splitter for more down force?

Thought about a custom splitter for more down force?Funny you should mention this Garry ... I was thinking about this on the drive home from work today.

As for the dyno video, here it is:

read the whole mavro gato thread, that is a "60% duty cycle activator" unless I've forgotten the correct term.

read the whole mavro gato thread, that is a "60% duty cycle activator" unless I've forgotten the correct term. It's a scramble boost activation button, which is fully configurable, so the duty cycle and duration can be set to whatever you want (within a range).

read only the linked one from post one if you want. I'm very very seriously considering boost after a manual swap, so I'm taking in everything even closely related on here...

Oh, i thought it was the easy button: Someone challenges Trevor on the highway, Trevor hits the button, and pulls six car lengths. "That was easy!"

Gary, Trevor's easy button conveniently doubles as the gas pedal
