Here's a link from the FAQ above
The link for creating angel eyes nolonger is valid :(

This probably isn't the same one but this is one I found on an archive site Angel Eyes How-to (http://web.archive.org/web/20051214100840/http://www.amesthundercats.com/HeadlightMod.html)

I am in the process of doing Demon Eyes to a set of 01 headlights. I got the computer fans with the cold cathodes from Xoxide.com which means that the rings wires point downwards instead of at each other. So, I had to drill two small holes under each ring to feed the wires through it to make a clean look and it also holds the rings in place. I will then put like a dab or two of silicone or something behind each ring to make sure they stay still.

The rings electrical wires will then be soldered back together once they are through the holes that I drilled. If you dont drill the holes for the wires than you will see the wires from the outside. They didnt really do that in the "how to" I beleive, then again they did it to a set of 99 - 00 headlights which have small slits already at the bottom of the lens hole.

Ive always thought of hooking them up to the stock old fog wires, then when you turn on your fog light they turn on.

I meant the old wires, i dont have light any more (mg front) Then you dont have to run a new switch and the wiring and the old wires are riht by the headlights. If you have working fog lights then this obviously wont work. But the downfall i guess i that you have to have your light on...

why not, just run it in parallel circuit..?

I bought the blue ones from Xoxide and installe a switch to turn them on and off so that I don't get in trouble because they look really really cool, but they are so bright that I have a feeling they are not legal. White may have been a better option but the blue ones are sooo cool.

I'm getting lucky here in MO. I drive with mine on when it's dusk to dark out with red driving/blinkers in front as well. So far no problems. I'm sure eventually I'll get stopped about them.

how do you wire them with a on/off switch?

fordrule

i used a multimeter or a test light and test the wires that go to the parking lights. i wired mine to the parking lights that go into the corner of the headlights.

have the headlights plugged in have some one turn the lights on from off to parking lights and one of the wires should show +12 when the lights are switched from off to on. understand? or do u need further explanation?

i actually cut the ends off , but left at least 2 inches on the plug wired in my quick disconnect plug and soldered the q/d plug and the parking light plug back together . u dont have todo that but it was easier for me when i was doing the mod

i will upload a pic to hopefully help you
