View Full Version : Door panel fastener - What is it called and where can I get it?
The plastic fastener which attaches the interior door panel to the door frame has broken off. There are three of them held in place by torx screws, two on the door latch side and one in the door hinge side.
Can anyone tell me what they are called and where can I get them, I tried advanced auto parts and walamrt without any luck...

Sadly those arent even serviced by the dealership. Try the junkyard.

dude i can get them, i even have 2 bags of them. but their cheap. ill find the part number for you bro :)
and they are available at the lincoln mercury dealership i work at.

I riveted a piece of sheet metal on there because the plastic pieces will keep breaking. Works like a charm. just made an L shaped bracket and drilled a hole for the screw. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

goto a ford dealer and ask if you can buy some of the screws, there cheap. Or just change them to different screws.
