The one I got just plugged into the airbag harness under the steering wheel adapter.

When I swapped seats all I had to do was swap the seat belt tensioners (where your seat belt plugs into) from my old seats and voila! Unless your seats have airbags in them... then I dunno.
here are few pic's i took

I get why you'd want to do this, but part of me just thinks it's kind of a bad idea. If for nothing else because of the liability stand point. *shrugs*

You can shut it off by installing the factory seats. Since race seats should only be needed when racing. Which is primarily to be done at the track.

What about those of us installing factory seats withiout airbags..ever think of that? HUH!??
I have another set of stock seats to install , however they don't have airbags like my seats do now. Where did you get the simulators from?

dont waste your money, all the "simulator" is is a resistor. Your probably better off spending an hour on the net finding the ohm value rather than dumping the 60 some bucks for a part that costs 17 cents.
If you want a hint, I did post it here 3+ years ago.

hmm..I'll search when I get to work ;) I'm such a noob..
so i got my hands on another air bag simulator (otc 7956) for ford system II . i plunged it under my driver seat and now i get 5 blinks of the air bag light . my question is would putting one under the passenger side seat fix this problem?

i have been trying everything to turn the light off .nothings worked will using a Diagnostic Code Scanner i can delete the light ? even if it is just to pass inspection ? also will removing the bulb cause any problems for me during inspection?

Oh man Ty. You missed my post above. I ended up installing new seats into my car that had airbags, my old ones did not. All I had to do was swap the pre-tensioners (where the actual seat belt plugs into) and it fixed the blinking air bag light. The seats without airbags have a different resistance (more if iirc) then seats with airbags. So if you swap the tensioners, the car still thinks it has the same seats. Also, since you're new seats don't have airbags, don't plug in the passenger seat at all. Only plug in the grey connector on the drivers side seat, i believe the yellow and green were for the airbag since my old seats didn't have yellow or green plugged into anything.

I got errors when I tried plugging my new passenger seat into the car. When I kept it unplugged, the passenger light error went away.
Fixed it took it to a diagnostic shop and they did something about making the computer think theres only 2 air bags instead of 4 and it worked great no more blinking light

I have looked at the airbag schematics and the passenger green plug is just a loop of wire, leave it disconnected and you are just fine. as far as the drivers seat goes the extra green plug should also be disconnected. Now cars with airbags only one green plug needs to be jumped with a jumper wire and both airbag plugs (the yellow ones under the seat) need to have the correct resistance resistor jumped between the connector wires and the light should go away.
