i am a member of focusfanatics and was checking out the for sale section and came across this (http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134012). so someone should buy this and make a 450 hp cougar. :)

I would say that 100% of the turbo piping would need to be redone.

Also the ENGINE dynod at 450. Yeah thats impressive but the same if not more can be had from the 3l and its safer protection wise to boot.

I know the guy he is located around the st.louis area. Last time I checked he was willing to part the motor from the car with the turbo kit for 5K. The reason they went with the 2.5 rather the the 3.0 is because it was a sponsered car that ford built..they wanted to show the true potential for the SVT motor......
