Hey, well my cougar is up for sale. It has been nothing but problem after problem for me so im moving on to something else. Im looking at picking up a 2002 focus SVT. Can anybody give me their opinons on these cars?? Are they pretty reliable? Main Problems with them?? ect... Any info would be MUCH appreciated! The car is stock besides wheels, exhaust(magnaflow), and window tint.

What's wrong with the Cougar and how much are you asking? ATX/MTX? I'm still leaning toward selling my Orange one so I can build my Kit Car when I get home :biggrin:
Well its an atx, 94k. Not really sure whats going on with it right now. i took it to a bodyshop because my lights go very dim and then REALLY bright when im driving down the road and its been getting worse. Ive had the alt tested and its fine. The bodyshop couldnt tell what is wrong with it. The rear brakes need to be replaced but im taking care of that. One of the wheels has a very slight bend in it but doesnt really affect handling. As for a price, im really not sure. It has a full custom sound system,aftermarket wheels/tires,window tint, sri, and some painted interior pieces but thats pretty much it. the car has a newly rebuilt trans w/ warranty., Brand new radiator/hoses as well.

If you're looking for one hell of a fun car, the Focus SVT is exactly what you're looking for. After hanging with the Focus guys for a couple years now, the cars have tremendous potential and are a blast to drive. Go sign up over at THE FORD FOCUS ENTHUSIAST SITE :: FOCALJET (http://focaljet.com) and look in the Dezert Focus section, I believe there are a couple for sale locally. They are a great group of guys to hang out with and can answer any question you may have about the cars.
thanks bobby i will have to get over there and ask them some questions. I test drove a 2002 focus svt and it seemed like a really fun car to drive and definitely faster than my coug. Only problem is that i need to sell mine first,and that is proving to be harder than i thought it would be. i just want to sell it locally so i dont have to deal with shipping and all that.
