I have a set of headers and than a lone one. I think one might be the Vortech Spec edition but I can't find any pictures with the 2 side by side. The one has one bung for an o2 sensor and the other has 2 bungs in different places than the first.

Is the one of the left a Vortech Spec?

I have Vortec spec MSDS headers on my car...the front header runs REALLY close to the block to allow room for the jackshaft to pass in front of it. As far as I know, that is the only difference. I can't tell from the picture if it is or not.

it looks like you have two weapon R's and one regular MSDS.. I dunno.

As Stealthy stated above that is not the vortech spec header it's a MSDS header for a 99-00 Cougar on the left and a WR stainless header for an 01-02 Cougar on the right.

That clears that up I appreciate it. Next, where can I find a Vortech Spec front header? Should I just call Vortech or is it even worth getting?

Vortech doesn't make it, MSDS does.

Here's a pic of everything. It's pretty big- But you'll see that the front header is a flat 3-to-1 collector, not a triangular one (as in your pic):

Call MSDS at the numbers in the Sticky post at the top of both the 2.5L and 3L forum. See if Marty will hook you up with one.

Will do.... Am I correct in saying the Weapon R or MSDS non-Vortech Spec front header won't fit with the SC'er on there?

You are correct, the jackshaft that runs across the front of the engine prevents you from using a normal MSDS header or any Weapon-R variant.

Excellent... well I guess I'll have to use the Weapon R's on one of the other cars I have or sell them. I appreciate the help.
