Anyone out there feel like helping a fellow Maryland NECO member out on a header install on a 2.5 v6...i really would rather have someone help out that has done this before. ive installed headers on civics and whatnot but not on anything i really had to tear apart to get too. And dont worry im not a serial killer:crazy:haha. The only reason i havent been to any of the meets yet is because im in the middle of a ton of work to the coug. I live in Hagerstown, anyone close enough to give me some help?

i cant make it since you live 15 hrs away, but for the front one get on the creaper and go feet first under the car, makes it waaaay easier to get at. some of them you can get from the top as well. the back one, well good luck with that, hope you have a lot of extensions

Do you have an ATX or MTX? I think the ATX is a lot harder to do for some reason (haven't done it myself).
Any access to a lift? Those things are a PITA. :( I haven't done it, but I've been under there and looked at where the bolts are...

Sorry I had my headers installed when the engine was built. Best of luck on your install though.

Yeah, I saw that. I figured I would just let the other guy buy them. The exterior of my car isn't in very good condition, so I figured I would just put it last on my list. That way I can just do it all at the same time.
Or something like that . . .
