Anyone have a diagram of where all the grounds are on the 99? I think that might be what my problem is since I have done the big three plus new alt and battery and I still get the dimming/pulsing of the lights only when I put the car into drive though, put the car in park and the bat light goes out??

my 01 has a simular problem exept the tight is constant and will recarge a little when driving.

seriously doubt its the grounds... did you check your VR plug and Voltage sensing wire?

5 bucks says its the plug on the alt that is corroded, only way to fix it is to buy a new alt and plug, cut the old plug and splice it on and put in a new alt.

i tried that and got a new batter and changed ALL the fuses and checked for a bad ground and took it in to brake check for them to tell me they have no idea whats wrong. by the way the car dies and my battery light is STILL on:banghead:

well i have looked at the alt again, and was looking at the tensioner and the tab for reading how much tension there is. I think it's time to replace the tensioner, not to mention when I was putting on a new belt the idler pulley had some play in it, so I'll be replacing the two of them tomorrow, we'll see if it takes care of the pulsing!
