No maybes, no I'd like too. Serious interest only, think about it because I don't want to get burned:)

25-30 bucks to run, who wants to play?? Trophies for winners in their class.

all this will be set up probably to run with the local group that micah and myself run with Triad Sports Car Club Auto-X.com - Home of the Triad Sports Car Club (http://www.auto-x.com)

yes, with enough people insurance and venue rental will be covered in entry fee:) Right now I'm thinking newcougar.org members only but I will not turn away some locals. As I said, we have an awesome group here and that will help with cost. Justin and I have not gotten together yet.

I'm just trying to see who on this forum would like to do this. Then we can go from there.

I know a couple friends who run with the group that I'm sure would love to run with us... they are "the stig" "wrx134" and "323is" on the auto-x forums, plus two volvo owners, my brother in his z, a galant owner, Bimmer guy, and more!

everyone has to remember that no location has been picked yet and all of this is just research for micah's proposal

Yes, this is not set in stone by any means. I still have to find a suitable hotel and even then people, including myself, might vote for another location:)

The best western about a half-mile down the road is where we stayed at auto-x school, that was pretty nice, and not expensive.

I still would probably vote elsewhere though... just something about Danville. Now Greensboro, that works! If we could have the coliseum for a whole day!

Yeah, Greensboro or Winston would be better as far as restaurants, pics, cruise. It would be like Ohio but with an autoX day. I'm calling around though:) The Coliseum is a great location, I agree.

As far as 1st pic on the hotel list......Sharaton (http://www.sheratongreensboro.com/meetingservices.shtml)

115.33 a night for a 2 bed non smoking. They also have smoking suites at the same price. That's 28 bucks a person, not bad at all for this fantastic hotel. Huge parking lot, had the Nopi tour there and roped off part of the lot for us. It's also in the parking lot of the local mall and on a main strip with lots of restaurants. We can also get a meeting room.

The Greensboro coliseum(one autoX location) is just down the street:)
