 WTF up with the weather here lately! I Guess all the nerds and people claiming to save the Ozone were right. Global Warming is more apparent now then ever! Today was unbearable. High of 100 Degrees with the Heat index of 103 degrees. If you happen to standing in direct sunlight it felt like 115 Degrees. With humidity at a all time high and smog levels in the "Orange" Zone Atlanta weather just hasn't been pleasant here lately ! :disgust:

What we need to do is we need to start saving the rain forest and sell all of our gas-powered vehicles for Bicycles and environmental friendly means of transportation.

On a more serious note. Anyone that works out side Be sure to drink plenty of water. It really doesn't take much to pass out in this extream heat..

I have always lived in the south so it didn't bother me as bad but ya...football practice sucked!

And no i don't think it's global warming...i have been around long enough to say...it's been hotter than this in summers past!

Bah! It rains daily in Florida. It didn't rain here until just a couple of weeks ago! Georgia was recently named one of the top five driest states in the country.

According to the nightly news, the air quality is now so bad that working outside is like smoking a pack of cigarettes. And I went running six miles!

I've lived in Georgia for 17 Years. I moved down to Orlando in August of 05 then moved back to August of 06. It was so hot down in FL that you would break out into a sweat before you could even get out get into your car. Not to mention that it rained every day at 2pm then by 5pm it was bright and sunny as if it had never rained. Humidity down there was teh Sux!:banghead:

I have lived in the south my whole life. I know what it feels like to be hot I just pretend i'm in la la land where its always 70 and clear with a slight breeze.

Pffff I hate summer time. Lived in cobb my whole life and this is just stupid hot here this year. I miss the winter of 93, I was only 7 but that blizzard was nice! Something like 3ft of snow. Something like that needs to happen again.

Not to mention i work at a glass company, doing installs on windows storefonts, shower doors, mirrors, etc... but carrying mirrors and glass that weigh anywhere from 20-100lbs (few around 100-400lbs but would carry with 2 people or a dolly) in the sunlight is bad. Even worse when what ever i carry reflects the light onto me. Luckily my cougar has leather, because by the time i get off of work on most days now even my pants are soaked and that would leave a nice funk in my car lol. Hah I would wear shorts but I got pale white chicken legs so thats out of the question.

 I didn't think anyone remembered the Blizzard of 93. I was young and stupid back then. Good times

I doubt that will ever happen again, but with the changing weather patterns anything is possible! No one can predict the future especially not Ken Cook on FOX5 News! :disgust:
