On my way back from Florida on I-65 heading North at mile marker 151 is a 01-02 red rear bumper laying on side of road. I would have grabbed it but car was full. Prob. messed up but thought it was funny.

lol even if the bumper was damaged I would have taken it for the fog lights.

Whaddaya say we make this thread just for posting weird stuff we have seen on the road?

I was cruisin north-bound on I-69 just north of Indy, I'm doin a good 72 in the slow lane. I start climbing a small hill and just as i'm topping the hill.....THERE WAS A FREAKING CAR DOOR.....THE ENTIRE DOOR! Laying in the very middle of the road! I swerved quickly to the right and over the rumble strips and missed the door. People behind me were doing the same thing and one car was already in the ditch. Apparently he was in the fast lane and jerked over straight into the grassy area between north and south-bound lanes. I about sh!t my pants! I couldn't believe there was a full door in the road. It was green...that's all i remember. And I think it still has the glass window in it, unbroken. I wonder where the car that it came off of was...?

::trolling:: I came a few inches from hitting a ladder in the middle of the highway a few months back. The Minivan behind me with some chick driving ran it right over, and it shot up and hit her door. It didn't even seem to phase her! I got beside her a little later and it was dented to sh*t!

There is a radio station in St. Louis that keeps track of how many ladders and mattresses are found in the highway every summer. I believe ladders usually win.

90 towards the city usually has a good collection of bumpers

Hahahahaha. Where does all this crap come from? It seems like the person would pull over and pick up the crap that fell off of their own vehicle...

It's odd that I posted this, then the next morning on my way to work I saw something shining on the side of the road. I pulled over, walked back to it, and picked it up. It was a freakin amp! It's an older one, but still. I haven't tested it to see if it works. It says "Targa - Autosound - FX 354 - 420W" I'm going to assume it doesn't work...

Dodged a old television set while I was working. One of those big old wooden ones just sitting in the middle of the QEW in Fort Erie.

Also missed a plastic wagon falling out of a pickup. Here we were minding out own business and out of nowhere the highway is sent into chaos as a wagon decides to go on a rampage and kill itself, taking whoever it wants with it.

Funny part is a couple hours later when we got to our campground, we saw the pickup truck that had lost the wagon a few sites over.

Couple years back. I was headed down I-75 I saw a pickup truck loaded up with about 4 brand new gateway computers. The guy ends up losing one so i flagged him down and he went back to get it.
