Screw NOS, I'll take some drift juice

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you get alittle thirsty when sliding around a corner with that 150 hp to wheels?

Having trouble staying focused because of the rumble of your 5" exhaust tip?

Need that extra juice to gain the edge?

Having trouble swapping in that 240 hp mother of an engine?

Try the new Drift Juice -- made by drifters for drifters.

The specially formulated water is flow in from the mountains of Japan. The water is specially formulated to improve concentration and energy to help you through those corners. Finally, the Drift King himself prays upon all the water with an ancient Japanese prayer to improve your drift skills.

If you go down to S. Fl and pick it up

I was only a few tenths from that mark before, but my 1/4 time was compromised in doing so.

No biggie though. I'll destroy that mark when I get back from this desert paradise

There's finally a tune (well, 2, but one is over a grand ) on the market that breaks loose something like 50 hp and 80ft/lbs. One of the guys with a tuned GXP raced a V8 Vantage and made it quite clear that the Vantage was the slower vehicle. I cant wait!

Thats because they are slow dude.......A stock Vantage will run a mid to high 13 in the quarter mile. It's a 380hp car that weighs 3595lbs and does 0-60 in 5.2secs. As I recall that's the same 0-60 time as the GXP:rofl:

5.1 :disgust:

And its the automatic GXP that runs the 5.2 0-60. The manual was generally around 5.6

So either way...

Either way you're right there next to him laughing......

Pontiac Solstice GXP......23,000 dollars

Austin Martin Vantage.........150,000 dollars

Waving at him as you, stay next to him, racing down the highway........PRICELESS:rofl:

I wanna run one. I've only seen a Vanquish and a couple of DB9's. Those will murder me, lol.

$23K? Who the hell did you rob? You can barely get a base sol for 23

$30k is about right for a GXP. Tune is another $500-1000 depending on which one you pick up.

Either way...bragging rights!

oops, my bad.....I was looking at the wrong model:flushed: Yeah, point still made:rofl:

500-1000.....is that for EM and a tune, or just EM?

XplosivePlushToy
08-15-2007, 11:48 AM
$500 is for the ECM re-flash through a company in Canada (there should be a few more domestic ones soon, before I get back stateside anyway). $1000 buys an OBDII device that can flash your ECM with the tune or return it to stock at will.

I would defiantly go for the more expensive one. One thing I really like about the utec is the map selector. Don't have to retune for summer and winter. But if you can get a system to just reflash anytime......do it.

Eh, the $500 ECM reflash will also be supported by a tune-by-email system that the company is currently working out.

Of course, I plan on taking my car to their garage and getting it dyno tuned. That is, obviously, the best of all options. Ill be able to reflash the ECM myself once they supply me with the programming n such, which should only be another $40.

They have until next july to get this stuff up and running!

And because I cant go to this meet, someone whoop eric's ass on the strip for me. (which probably means someone will have to forceably bring him because hes all wrapped around a woman's finger now )

Oh, and I recommend the Chili's nearby... :goofy:

I hope everyone had a good time, I didn't make it out. We had issues fitting my bumper over the front mount intercooler I just bought. The wife and I also cleaned the house. I'm so happy cause it's almost done. Just need some counter tops for the kitchen and a little paint upstairs. We're getting there:)

well, the front mount was the reason I didn't go. By the time we got the bumper to fit, the event was over......so I cleaned instead. The wife was grateful.

There had better be a good car show going on when I get back to NC.

I think I'm going to miss SlamSession (which isn't such a bad thing, my hand is still ****ed up from the last one) next year, and I'll definitely be missing Freak Show.
