He guys. How are things going around here? My name is Leon and I live in NY. I have already bought a Cougar a few days ago, but it's sitting at the dealership right now because my conflicting schedule has prevented me from picking it up... Oh how dissapointed I am, because the lady is a Chinese lady and she's really nice and she told me the cleaned it for me and everything today and there is nothing in it. She made sure she said "nothing" twice. Lol. She's really funny. Anyways I was suppose to pick it up today but couldn't because I had things come up.
Now more into detail, the car is Black and it's a 2001. Has the V-6 and all the stuff I'm sure you guys know about. It's in really good shape with only 70k miles. I'm basically surfing around here to learn about the car. I have no plans for modifying it, and if I do it won't be until I get all my matters straightened out or it's cheap stuff like intake exhaust and windows etc... First thing I might do is tint the windows. Would look sick. I already have a cone style filter. Just need to make my own pipe or something... And exhaust would be nice like I said. Like I said. Just give me tips. I'm open to all ideas guys. And so you guys know I'm a Do It Yourselfer kind of guy with what tools I have.

I've been looking online a lot to check the reliability of this car. I noticed that most problems occured with the 99s and 2000s just from surfing the web. Maybe I just couldn't find much on 2001. Are they a bit more reliable? I don't mind fixing stuff, I'm just wandering. I'm a tech learning the ways...

I live in farmington ny. I live down the street from the Finger Lakes Race Track & Casino. Takes me 10 minutes to get to Eastview mall in Victor. I'm sure some of you have been to the Casino before.

I know where buffalo is. Damn. Sounds like some of you live in NY. We should all meet together one of these times. That's be awesome. :-) Just don't get me addicted to modding. I already know how cool it is to do it and how fun it can be. :)

yeah modding is addicting, lol. it's already taken all my money I was suppost to save for when I go back to college in the fall. haha

I just graduated highschool. I start at MCC this fall so my parents want me to save money. I'm taking the Toyota T-Ten Program. So don't tell me parts I can buy, because I'll want to buy them! Joking. :)

Sounds like a deal to me. I just want to meet a few people who own cougars and see what they've done to their cars and their plans... Just talk and stuff would we cool.
I'll get some pics up after I pick the car up this friday. I pic it up at 1 in the afternoon. Promise. :-)

Picked up my cougar today and so far I'm loving it. Will be taking pictures tonight... I mean really really good pictures. I think I found an awesome place to do so, so depending how it goes, it may be worth the wait. I'll upload them tommorrow. :rofl:

Sorry guys for not posting pics like I said, but my computer had really bad virus, and I just cured it today. So happy about that. I had the damn Vundo Trojan Virus. What a P.I.T.A. Anyways, I'll try and get them pics up tonight. I'm sure you guys will love them. Hope I haven't deleted them yet. :( I had to deleted a lot of $hit to cure my computer. But it's happy again.:rofl:
