Well, it was a great day yesterday for racing. I was hoping for 15.4's and got MUCH more than I thought I would. The weather was about 65 degrees and sunny with a slight wind.

Here's the times.

1st run:
.950 r/t
60' - 2.439
330' - 6.519
1/8 - 9.983
mph - 71.17
1000' - 12.969
1/4 - 15.520
mph - 89.52

2nd run:
.847 r/t
60' - 2.283
330' - 6.343
1/8 - 9.800
mph - 71.48
1000' - 12.759
1/4 - 15.299
mph - 89.10

3rd run:
.817 r/t
60' - 2.228
330' - 6.338
1/8 - 9.789
mph - 71.22
1000' - 12.778
1/4 - 15.311
mph - 90.52

4th run:
.943 r/t
60' - 2.287
330' - 6.276
1/8 - 9.669
mph - 72.58
1000' - 12.583
1/4 - 15.116
mph - 91.23

All I'm running with is a Weapon R intake, ProFlo 75 MAF and Borla Carbon Fiber Exhaust. There wasn't enough time to get out and try to best the 15.116, which really made me mad, but there's always next time. When I get the reaction times down where they should be, I think a solid 15.0 or maybe a 14.9 could be had. All in all, I was very impressed with how the car ran yesterday!!

Those are very awesome times Eric. I meant to ask you yesterday, were you power-shifting at all or no?

For anyone else intersted, here was my best time yesterday:

R/T - .538 <- i/expressions/smile.gif
60' - 2.376
330 - 6.613
1/8 - 10.140
MPH - 70.04
1000 - 13.177
1/4 - 15.774
MPH - 86.76

I uh... think I may be investing in that MAF... i/expressions/smile.gif

Great runs Eric!

My weekend was too embarassing. The only thing keeping me out of depression is the fact I still ran quicker than a new WRX ATX and a new Eclipse GT ATX, both were in the mid-16's....(I wasn't much better) i/expressions/mad.gif

I would be perfectly content with low 15's, and glad some of you are already there. i/expressions/smile.gif

I didn't bring my timeslips to work, darn! My best run was 15.9 (best so far) My worst was 16.4 ( still better than last time) So I am improving as I go, that's my goal: be consistant, work on my launch and 60ft time, get my reaction time consistantly better! I only have a KKM and a huge desire to learn! Who cares if you aren't the fastest, it's still a huge adrenaline rush and a lot of fun! I was happy to just break into the 15s, ya gotta start somewhere!

damn, i think the maf is gonna be my next mod. What temp was it when you were running? Was it humid at all. I was able to manage a 15.487 @88mph, my 1/8mile and 60' time were not a quck (60' @2.385, 1/8 9.967) but my 1/8mph was faster 73.8mph. I guess the maf helps off the line and top end. The temp was very hot-90-95, and I have pacesetter exhaust and kkm intake. Did manage to beat a 2001 mtx v6 eclipse gt, prelude vtec with i/e, and a TYPE-R integra(really ****ty driver).

it was 60 to 65 and beautiful outside. i dont think there was any humidity at all either. nice and dry for good runs. your weather was too hot. go at night sometime when its nice and cooler, then you should drop a little in times.
