I took my car to East Coast Custom for my new paint job and they really do unbelievable work. If you live in or near the Utica, NY area, I strongly recommend them if your looking to get ANY kind of body work done.

How's the pricing? I am about 30 minutes out and even though my schools probably getting a auto-body lab I am impatient :)

He's pretty expensive but the work they do is well worth it.

I know of them. I used to live near Little Falls, NY for a number of years. They do nice work. I bought my first Cougar from Cater Lincoln-Mercury.

Yeah, they did a two tone paint job on my car and it looks fantastic!

Also, if anyone is looking to mount rims and tires, brakes, suspension upgrades or alignments, Wheel Wizards Inc. is right around they corner from East Coast Custom. They mounted my rims and tires today and did a great job. My rims are painted to match and they did a good job not scratching them. They have a new machine for mounting rims and tires that grabs the rim from the inside to prevent scratching. Thay also have a state-of-the-art alignment machine that comes out of the floor for cars with lowering kits and/or ground effects.

Wheel Wizards charges around $25 per wheel to mount and balance custom wheels with low profile tires. I'm having them do the lowering on my suspension too but I haven't got a price yet.

What kind of work are you looking to have done? If you give them a call they will give you an estimate.

nothing much at the moment but I went to goodyear before to have an alignment and they did a horrible job i ended up going back like 3 times and arguing with them because my tires were wearing unevenly. and they were about the same price as the place you are talking about.

Cater is where my cougar came from too, brand new, built to order.

I found a letter barried in my dresser the other day from Mercury explaining that the cougar was no longer going to be produced. I would imagine they only sent the letters out to original owners of the 1999-2002 model years.
