I don't know if anyone is interested in doing this for a meet but Pinks all out is Saturday June 9 & Dave & I will be there
As for any days I am good for any Sunday except july 1st(dave b-day) & only good for one saturday the 23rd.

I just realized that July 1 is bad for me - I'll be on my way to CougarFest. I'm going up on July 1 and staying for a week - the campground had a decent weekly rate.

hell i hope to make this one when ever it is im moving this weekend so ill be busy for a few weeks geting everything out and 9th and 10 ill be in little italy at the italian festival
What is Pinks?
Pinks is a show on the Speed Channel where people race, and if they lose, they give up their car (their pink slip I.E. - Pinks). :)

June really doesn't work for me at all. July oth works for me. If things don't pan out well for June perhaps a July post Cougarfest meet would work? :shrug:

Ah. I knew about the show, but I didn't realize they moved around. Probably because I've never watched it. :)
I'd offer my house for the cookout again, but it stinks. Literally. :(
We can certainly do more than 1 meet, and if there isn't enough interest for doing one in June, we can just go for July instead...
I know a few people were asking about a meet, so I wanted to get it started. :)
Definitely a good idea with the cookout, maybe we could use a park again (Lake Waterford last time). We did a cookout, cards, basketball, frisbee, catch, fed the ducks, etc. and had a nice big parking lot as well... Everybody brought something, and invited their friends to join us as well.

Millburns (sp) Landing State Park, Shad Landing State Park, Even the park/zoo here in Salisbury (which is closest for you guys) has a nice area for cooking out. Also June 16th weekend is the OC Car and Truck Show!!!!
The OC show is a good reason to avoid being over there. :rofl:

Okay, Sunday June 10 and Sunday June 24 are tied.
Unless someone strongly objects, I'm leaning towards the 24th as it gives me more than 2 days to plan. :)
Who intends on coming out? :shrug:
I'll start with that and then work on location/activities so that I'm not planning something A) far away from most attendees B) with more people in mind than plan on attending or C) trying to appease peopple who won't be there.

Okay so locations wise, we've got people coming from Bowie, Baltimore, Pasadena, Ellicott City, and maybe Odenton (Henry)...
How about a movie?? :shrug:
There's a theater by BWI airport that is usually not very crowded (and not at a mall) - Hoyt's West Nursery 24. (http://baltimore.citysearch.com/profile/11276896/linthicum_md/hoyt_s_west_nursery_cinema_14.html)
Columbia Mall has a nice theater, AMC Theaters at the Mall in Columbia (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?node=cityguide/profile&id=1090377&categories=Movie%20Theaters), but as we all know it can be crowded.
There is always Arundel Mills, Muvico Egyptian 24 (http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3033497340), but we all know what traffic can be like there, and parking too.

I can't make it. :( I totally need a movie night too. Nationals are that weekend at FedEx. After three days of running the car and running my butt off, I'm going to be exhausted.

I've heard Oceans 13 is better than 12 but not as good as 11, but I don't know anything more about it.
Is that an agreement with Nia's vote? :shrug:
Any opinion on viewing location?

I like Hoyt's because of its lack-of-crowds, but Columbia is just fine by me also.

Well Sherrie and I perfer Hoyts anytime in the afternoon sounds good. Need the morning to work on the car to get it ready for FEST.
Okay, in the interest of setting things officially, we'll call it Hoyts. :)
Movie times have not yet been released, but we'll shoot for a start time after/around 6:30 so that Henry can try to make it too...
We can meet in the (very large) parking lot before hand to chat and catch up before we go in to the movie.
That work for everyone? :shrug:

I gotta start watching TV again...Oceans 13 is the only one of those I've heard of, and that's only because a friend of mine went to see it...
