K, so I am planning on hooking up the cougar with a little upgrade and I already have a newer kenwood 6 disk cd changer just collecting dust. Which I am planning on mounting it in the center console. I have seen pics of ppl with a monitor installed in the factory radio location. But my question is "hint the title" is it worth the price. I have seen others like dual and jensen but I have regretfully worked with the jensen amp on another buddys cars and that sucked total a$$. I know both brands blow. So does anyone have a better choice, or is this a ok deal. I don't like e-bay, so I am not going to deal with them. My other question is what other sites have good prices and you had good experiences with for touch screen monitors.

I have quite a bit of Kenwood stuff in both cars and love it - including one of their 10 disc changers, two head units, 4 sets of speakers, and a subwoofer amp (I didn't intend to outfit my cars with entirely Kenwood stuff, they just kept having exactly what I wanted).

I've heard good things about the Jensen screens, but nothing really about the rest of their stuff...

jensen screens are junk... the motorized ones the gears wear out quick... I've seen quite a few have dead spots after a few months... that kenwood is a very nice piece, and as far as price, crutchfield, for what they give you with it isn't that bad.. I prefer them over most audio shops as they will give you any help you want or need free.. usually give you mounting hardware along with wiring harnesses for your vehicle.. IMO, you wouldn't be making a bad buy. but that's just my .02
